We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; process payments; connect passengers with drivers; send ride confirmations and receipts; provide customer support; comply with legal obligations; and send safety alerts and emergency notifications when applicable.
We collect precise location data when you use the Service to match you with nearby drivers, calculate fares, and provide navigation. Location data is collected only while the app is in use. You may disable location services in your device settings, but this will limit your ability to use the Service.
We share your information with: Drivers (name, pickup location, and phone number to facilitate your ride); payment processors (Braintree) to process transactions; family members or emergency contacts you designate; and law enforcement when required by law. We do not share your information with advertisers.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Ride history is retained for 7 years for legal and tax purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at [email protected], subject to our legal retention obligations.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage of sensitive data, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and report any suspicious activity immediately.
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
