Important Notice
This Driver Agreement governs your relationship with SenioRides as an independent contractor. Please read it carefully before driving on the platform.
You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of SenioRides. You retain the right to perform services for other companies, including competitors. SenioRides does not control the manner or means by which you provide transportation services. You are solely responsible for determining how, when, and where to provide services.
To drive on the SenioRides platform, you must at all times: (a) hold a valid driver's license for your jurisdiction; (b) maintain valid auto insurance meeting minimum state requirements; (c) maintain a valid vehicle registration; (d) pass and maintain a satisfactory background check; (e) be at least 21 years of age; (f) maintain a vehicle that meets SenioRides' vehicle standards; and (g) comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Your vehicle must be: no more than 10 years old; in safe operating condition with no warning lights; clean and free of odors; equipped with functioning seatbelts for all passengers; and accessible to passengers with mobility aids if you have opted into accessibility rides. SenioRides reserves the right to inspect vehicles and remove non-compliant vehicles from the platform.
SenioRides serves senior passengers who may require additional assistance. You agree to: assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed; handle mobility aids (walkers, wheelchairs, canes) with care; drive at a safe, comfortable speed; avoid sudden braking or acceleration; maintain a quiet, calm environment; and never leave a passenger unattended at a destination without confirming they are safely received.
You will receive a percentage of each fare as specified in the current rate schedule, which may be updated from time to time. SenioRides will process payments weekly via direct deposit to your registered bank account. You are responsible for all applicable taxes on your earnings. SenioRides will provide annual earnings summaries for tax purposes.
You must maintain personal auto insurance at all times. SenioRides maintains contingent liability coverage that applies while you are actively transporting a passenger booked through the platform. This coverage does not replace your personal insurance. You are responsible for understanding the coverage gaps between your personal policy and SenioRides' contingent coverage.
You may not: discriminate against passengers based on age, disability, race, religion, gender, or any protected characteristic; solicit passengers outside the platform; accept cash payments; use the platform while impaired by alcohol, drugs, or medication; use a mobile phone without a hands-free device while driving; or engage in any conduct that endangers passenger safety.
SenioRides may deactivate your account immediately and without notice for: failed background check; serious safety incident; fraudulent activity; repeated low ratings; or violation of this Agreement. For minor violations, SenioRides will provide notice and an opportunity to cure before deactivation.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SenioRides and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims arising out of: your provision of transportation services; your violation of this Agreement or applicable law; any accident, injury, or property damage occurring during a ride; or your use of the SenioRides platform.
Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Florida, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against SenioRides.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
